7. Week: 11 December, 2000 ÷ 17 December, 2000
Here we go! On Tuesday, 12.12.2000, our projects starts at full
blast! Today, Gerhard Dauscher arrived with thick roll of plans. What had been
seen a letter-sized sheet of paper before, is now plotted 1:1 on about
100 sqm of paper. Let's get cracking! |
- Gerhard Dauscher in 75 cms height! The plans are stapled to the benchwork. Now the first
building phase ist at least visible one-dimensional.
- 5 guys (one of them a girl) needed a whole day to staple all plans for
the 1. building phase. On this picture, only 7% of the total layout area
are visible!
- Unfortunately not visible in this picture : From the plans, one
can learn just how great the 3-dimensional scenery will look like. In
this spot, a "SMALL" station with 8 tracks will be created (considering
the size of our project, 8 tracks is not very much!) in rolling hills. A
long ICE - track will cross it on a high concrete bridge. In the
background, we will have high mountains with a summit-station. A river
provides a lot of space for a boat pier, and much more...
- A lot of brightness is spent by the provisional lighting
fixtures. In the background, Gehard Dauscher admires his work!
- A view into the large workshop which receives new tools day after day!
- A small storage for merchandising, snacks, etc. is set up in the
entrance area.
- This new wall will later separate the entrance hall from the lavatories..
